An FM radio that challenges the typical interactions between user and consumer electronic. Two simple knobs: one for volume and one for station tuning are the only touch points of the radio. Typical displays are replaced by notches on the knobs to indicate loudness and station settings, encouraging the user to remember physical states on their radio. The radio transforms from a sterile white box to an open form with its speakers as suspended wings, delivering sound to a larger area. The mockup I created uses repurposed parts from an off the shelf radio and new designed mechanisms.
